The sixth and final session of the “Sport and Environment: Paddling Toward Sustainability” webinar series will take place on 16 June 2025, marking the conclusion of a comprehensive cycle of training and awareness-raising activities developed within the DECK Project – Developing Environmental Circular Knowledge.
Organised under the project’s Education and Training work package, the six webinars have explored key themes at the intersection of sport, environmental sustainability, and the circular economy. The initiative was designed to support the uptake of innovative environmental governance tools and practices, particularly in the field of canoeing and kayaking competitions, while offering replicable solutions for the wider sport community.

Supporting the Uptake of Project Results
The webinar cycle has played a key role in enhancing the visibility and accessibility of DECK’s outputs, reinforcing their potential for long-term impact. By sharing concrete strategies and fostering dialogue among stakeholders, the series has contributed to spreading environmental knowledge and promoting behavioural change within and beyond the canoeing and kayaking sectors.
